The E100 microscope provides clear, bright images at every magnification. Chromatic-free infinity (CFI) optics correct for both chromatic aberration and curvature of the field of view. The result is a true-to-life, flat image right across the entire field of view. Design features are incorporated that protect slides and objectives from damage. Even when using short working distance objectives, the upper limit of the stage movement can be set so that the lens does not hit the specimen slide. The Eclipse E100 has been designed to be used with a range of auxiliary components and accessories, such as the phase contrast illumination or a camera for digital image capture.
