Multiple Benchtop Fermenter/Bioreactor
MFS2K bioreactor is made of easy to clean 316 stainless steel. A large alphanumeric screen displays set points and process bio-variables (dissolved oxygen, pH, agitation, temperature) in real time. Watertight membrane keypad provides easy access to every phase of the process, including probe calibration. Two peristaltic pumps, one for each vessel, provide automatic acid and base addition. An optional pump adds antifoam agent. Water-jacketed glass vessels between 1.5 and 2.5 liters are easily interchanged, and provide good heat distribution and temperature stability. The configuration of the vessel, with shaft, impellers and bottles, includes a stainless steel head plate with 11 orts for motor coupling, DO sensor, pH electrode, acid and base (antifoam agent) addition, inoculation, inlet gas, outlet gas, thermowell for PT100 sensor, hot finger, sampler assembly, and a spare. Software facilitates data acquisition and can produce graphs, reports and analysis of process parameters.
