GeneLine ImageSCI is a fully enclosed gel documentation system. Integral pc processor with installed acquisition and analysis software drives a 16-bit EDR performance CCD camera. The entire unit is light tight, ensuring that even small, faint bands are captured. In addition to the processor, the system incorporates a built-in 312 nm UV/white light transilluminator with sample tray, which provides exceptionally uniform light distribution and long sample preparation time. ImageSource software acquires images instantly, and ImageAide analysis software is used with 1-D gels, 2-D colony plates, spot blots, and manual band matching and quantifications.
