PCR Plates
Eppendorf® twin.tec PCR plates feature increased frame strength with thin-walled wells. Using a "twin-shot" technology, the injection mold manufacturing process combines a polycarbonate plate frame and polypropylene wells for optimal PCR results. The polypropylene wells ensure minimal binding of DNA, RNA and enzymes while delivering maximum recovery, even when working with ultra-small volumes. The thin-walled wells provide increased heat transfer and a secure fit against thermal blocks. The polycarbonate frame provides high mechanical stability, while eliminating warping and evaporation. They are available as skirted and semi-skirted 96-well plates in five colors.
