Pre-Validated Conditions For GPCR Studies
GE Healthcare, a combination of the former Amersham and GE Medical Systems, is to help further address bottlenecks in the drug discovery process with the introduction of a range of pre-developed protocols for G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) membranes. These pre-validated protocols offer time-savings of up to 15 days during the GPCR assay development stage. New scintillation proximity assay (SPA) GPCR Assays offer researchers working in high throughput screening environments pre-developed assay conditions for GPCR receptor-ligand binding studies. These SPA GPCR Assays broaden GE Healthcare's SPA range and comprise SPA beads and radioligands from GE Healthcare with GPCR receptor membranes from Euroscreen S.A., as well as a pre-validated protocol describing the required procedure for the GPCR assay.
