Homogenous Assays
HitHunter homogeneous, non-radioactive assays (Amersham Biosciences) come with clear protocols and can be read on both plate readers, and imaging platforms such as Amersham's LEADseeker Multimodality Imaging System. The product line features homogeneous assays for targets such as G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), kinases, and nuclear hormone receptors. The assays utilize proprietary enzyme fragment complementation technology, which has a sensitive, enzymatically-amplified signal as well as the flexibility to use a number of existing detection instruments already in the laboratory. HitHunter products include cAMP fluorescent and chemiluminescent kits suitable for 96- and 384-well plate formats.
