Picosecond Pulsed Laser Diode Source

NanoLED-14 emits pulses with a duration of <100 ps at a nominal wavelength of 475 nm. Miniaturized packaging and simple turnkey operation ensure functionality in applications presently using the blue argon-ion line. NanoLEDs are excitation sources for TCSPC-based fluorescence-lifetime measurements; this cyan diode facilitates important fluorophores such as fluorescein and NBD. The NanoLED-14 features adjustable collimation optics with pinhole apertures for beam circularization. Gold-plated enclosure ensures minimal emission of radio-frequency noise. The new source is fully plug-and-play compatible with existing NanoLED controllers and all TCSPC-based lifetime systems. Benchtop driver module features controls for repetition rate and synchronization delay, as well as comprehensive synchronization options. A microprocessor-controlled driver-card is available for OEM applications.
