This line of direct-heat CO2 incubators has the ability to maintain atmospheric oxygen levels at a concentration of 1 – 19%, ideal for preventing stem cells from differentiating. The incubators are directly heated from all six sides, including the door, for temperature uniformity, and offer a light-weight design and more capacity than similarly-sized air or water-jacketed incubators. Thermodynamic convection circulation provides a gentle, efficient system for maintaining uniform distribution of heat and gasses through the chamber, with no need for a fan to supplement mixing. Elimination of the fan provides more usable space within the chamber, simplifies cleaning, and means air is not immediately drawn in when the door is opened, reducing the chance of exposure to airborne contaminants. Three sizes are offered, including a micro-sized 14 liter/0.5 cu/ft system, a 48 liter/1.7 cu/ft model, and a full-capacity 170 liter/6.0 cu/ft incubator.
