CO2 Incubators For Hypoxic and Hyperoxic Studies

Innova CO2 incubators are offered with three oxygen control options. Oxygen concentrations from 0.1 - 19% can be sustained to mimic in-vivo environmental conditions for applications ranging from stem cell research to oncology and in-vitro fertilization (IVF). These options, combined with fanless convection, offer a contamination-free and robust environment for sensitive cells. For hypoxic studies such as aging, heart and respiratory failure and diabetes, as well as IVF work and anaerobic research, sustainable levels of 1 - 19% of O2 can be maintained by using nitrogen to displace oxygen inside the chamber, without the need for an external gas pack. When extremely low levels of O2 are needed, such as for minimizing stem cell differentiation, a 0.1 - 19% O2 option is offered. For versatility, an option for O2 control in the range of 1-95% is available, which is ideal for working with Fibroblasts and in O2 toxicity studies or blood-gas transfer protocols.
