Bioreactor Applications Reports
New Brunswick Scientific has published a series of application reports on the use of their benchtop BioFlo 110 fermentor/cell culture system. Five studies document step-by-step procedures for culturing Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO), hybridoma and insect cells, as well as E. coli and Pichia pastoris. The reports contain details on inoculum, media, pH and dissolved oxygen control settings, effects of gas supplementation, and more. In addition, a sixth report compares these applications and typical cell yields attained. The BioFlo 110 offers interchangeable vessels in 1.3 to 14 L capacities and can be autoclaved. Modular components allow system expansion. A multi-language PCU controls up to four vessels simultaneously; requires just one touch to switch between fermentation and cell culture operating modes; and enables viewing and changing process parameters.
