The R2P™ Roller Culture Apparatus enables development of cell cultures on a research scale unit that can be expanded as required to production capacity. From an initial set-up of one deck with five positions, users can add up to ten additional decks for a total of fifty-five bottle positions. This allows direct scale-up without having to change equipment and revalidate. The system is available with either 6 spacing for production, or 7-1/8 modular spacing for research. An 88-position unit is available for production needs. Standard control and monitoring features ensure maximum growth and avoid malfunctions. Programmable rotation speed and direction with soft start and stop capability optimize operation, particularly with fluted flasks. Built-in visual and audio alarms provide alerts if rotation speeds fall out of entered tolerance. Options include temperature monitoring, battery back up and exclusive CART2, computer control, monitoring and recording software.
