Proteomic Services
Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. and Proteome Systems Ltd. (PSL) have announced the opening of a new contract laboratory dedicated to proteomic research services. In the 10,000-square-foot laboratory, services offered by Charles River Proteomic Services utilize PSL's ProteomIQ technology platform. This platform, based upon 2-D gel separations, includes a comprehensive set of tools, automation, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics that collectively enable high-throughput proteomic research. The "web-enabled" platform allows customers to conduct "real-time" interactive research programs. The CRPS service portfolio also offers additional technologies, including ICAT and multi-dimensional chromatography.
