Epic high-throughput label-free screening platform uses changes in light wave reflections to detect interactions between a library of chemical compounds and a therapeutic target or diseased cells. The system eliminates the need to manually label each well, and thus can scan 40,000 wells in 8 hours, speeding up the discovery process and reducing associated costs. Instrument sensitivity allows researchers to screen therapeutic targets that could not previously be targeted.
