Square Dish Protects Against Spills
The Corning® 500 cm2 Square DW Spillguard Cell Culture Dish is offered for culturing large numbers of anchorage dependent cells. Spillguard multilayer film protects against media spills and contamination during handling and transport to the incubator. The durable film covers the top of the dish and has a six-inch opening to access cells. It is easily removed for harvesting. Currently, Corning treated cell culture dishes are available in 35, 60, 100 and 150 mm diameter styles and 245 mm square style. The spillguard is only available on the 245 mm cell culture dish. The large surface area allows 5 × 107 to 1 × 108 cells to be cultured in a single dish.
