Low-Volume UV Microplate
The well height of the new half area 96 well UV microplate allows for a sample volume (175 L) directly corresponding to a 1-cm path length for calibration using UV absorbance, while offering a reduced reagent costs and sample requirements. Time saving can be achieved by using the UV plates rather than quartz cuvettes. Disposable microplates eliminate washing and recycling, as well as the risk of damage to quartz cuvettes. The plates are constructed of a high UV transmittance polymer that has low background for consistent detection of samples with certified performance at 260 nm and 280 nm. UV transparent bottom is molded directly to the plate without adhesives. Integral seal prevents leaks and cross contamination of samples. The plate is certified DNase- and RNase-free.
