Micro-electroporation

Microporation enables the transfection of small sample volumes. Transfection takes place in a pipette tip. This non-viral method is also used for transfecting a range of hard-to-transfect cells (including primary cells, human stem cells and neurons). The system consists of a pulse generator, safety chamber and MicroPorator pipette. The pulse generator has a graphical user interface. All electrical parameters are controlled by the user including voltage, number of pulses and pulse duration. Pre-optimized electrical parameters are provided and updated through the technical support group.
