ProteinLynx™ Global SERVER 2.0 suite is now available on the IBM® eServer pSeries 630. The IBM eServer is equipped with IBM POWER4 microprocessors, the first "server on a chip," containing two one-gigahertz processors and self-healing technologies to guard against and recover from system failure. Designed to run Linux and AIX operating systems, this system is a complement to Waters software and an ideal platform on which to run proteomics applications. Featuring a new and comprehensive range of integrated tools for proteomics project management, relative protein quantification and protein identification leveraged with the specificity of exact mass data, ProteinLynx Global SERVER 2.0 enables seamless, automated protein identification with a variety of mass spectrometry and complementary technologies.
