New 33 mm Millex syringe filters with nylon membrane are offered for analytical sample preparation. The non-sterile filters are used for filtration of 10 to 100 ml volumes of aqueous and mild organic solutions prior to HPLC or other instrument analysis. Available in 0.20 μm and 0.45 μm pore sizes, the units provide fast filtration rates. A color-coded, overmolded design results in a high operating pressure of 100 psig (10 bar). Hold-up volume is low.
