Sterilizing Filter
Sterile, ready-to-use Steripak-GP20 filter device sterilizes up to 20 liters of aqueous solution, including tissue culture media, with or without serum, in 10 minutes or less. The device includes stacked discs of Express polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, a high-throughput membrane with 0.22 μm pore size, and low protein binding. In addition to the Steripak-GP20 device, the GP10 device is available for filtering up of volumes to 10 liters. These filters are part of a family of pressure-driven devices. With a pump or pressure vessel connection, the downstream filling bell provides sterility assurance while the upstream air-vent prevents air-locking.
