The membrane has a uniformly controlled pore structure with a high binding capacity for biomolecules. Open pore structure facilitates access to bound proteins and removes unbound probes from the background. Handling characteristics and staining capabilities are good, solvent resistance, and a high signal-to-noise ratio enhanced sensitivity.
