Columns For LC-MS And 2D Chromatography
Polymer Laboratories has launched a range of capillary and micro chromatography columns for small-scale chromatography. Chemically stable polymeric particles do not leach either soluble or particulate species. They can therefore be used in applications including proteomics, combinatorial chemistry, high throughput screening and ADME. Capillary columns with a 300 μm internal diameter are suited to sample sizes in the range pg to ng, and are used with flow rates around 4 μl/min. Micro columns with an internal diameter of 1.0 mm are designed for sample sizes in the range ng to mg, and typically operate at flow rates in the range 40 μl/min. Columns are available packed with reversed phase, strong and weak cation and anion wide pore exchange media. A gigaporous 4000Å range of reversed phase and ion exchange materials is available where ultra high speed analyses are required. A small pore, high capacity, 100Å PLRP-S material is also included in the range for small molecule or peptide analysis.
