Many products are available for the negative selection of human B cells. Most of these deplete CD43⁺ cells such as T cells, thymocytes and neutrophils, increasing the purity of B cells obtained from normal samples. However, B cells also express CD43 in samples from patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and other B cell leukemias and lymphomas. EasySep Human B Cell Enrichment Kits, with or without CD43 depletion, enrich B cells from either normal or abnormal samples. Up to 98% B cell purity can be achieved in less than one hour. For increased efficiency, up to four simultaneous separations can be fully automated.
