SpinSep separation method for human and mouse cell requires only a centrifuge, permitting multiple simultaneous separations, and is suitable for any sample, including frozen samples. Cells can be isolated from samples containing as few as 106 cells, with the maximum sample volume limited only by centrifuge rotor size. Unwanted cells are labeled with dense particles before centrifugation over density separation medium. The unwanted cells pellet, while the desired cells are collected from the interface. High cell purities and recoveries can be achieved in approximately one hour. T cell (CD3+, CD4+ or CD8+), B cell and NK cell products are available; monocyte and hematopoietic progenitor cell kits will soon be offered.
