The Verigene molecular testing platform contains a continuum of integrated systems for use in in-vitro diagnostics, bio-defense, and genomic research. The platform is useful in environments including hospitals, clinical and research laboratories, and fieldwork for military personnel and first responders. The Verigene ID optical detection instrument identifies biological targets at low concentrations. No target amplification (PCR, real-time PCR) is required. To be used with the Verigene ID, the Verigene System automates the assay using integrated fluid processing. This instrument makes one-step processing possible, requiring sample preparation only.
