Clonetics Primary Neuron Growth Medium, for culturing primary rat and mouse neurons, is a serum-free product that allows for long-term maintenance and growth of neuronal cells. Viability and morphology of cultured neurons can be maintained for several weeks with minimal growth of glial cells. The product is tested and guaranteed to perform with all of the Clonetics primary rat and mouse neurons. It is packaged in a kit format containing Primary Neuron Basal Medium and a Primary Neuron Growth SingleQuot Kit. The SingleQuot Kit contains the necessary volumes of L-glutamine, Penicillin/Streptomycin, and NSF-1 — a supplement supporting neuronal growth and survival — to complement the basal medium.
