Sorvall Legend T and Legend RT Plus integrated, high-throughput centrifuges include a broad range of high-capacity, high performance rotors and adapters for both clinical and research applications. Carbon fiber rotors allow for high g-forces, delivering super speed centrifugation in a benchtop unit: 14 × 50 ml conical tubes; 8 × 50 ml conical tubes at over 22000 × g; 6 × 250 ml bottles at 15000 × g; and 28 × 50 ml conical tubes in the swinging bucket rotor in sealed conditions. For blood tube processing, the system offers new adapters that deliver excellent capacity: 108 × 5 or 7 ml blood collection tubes and 84 × 10 ml blood collection tubes.
