The TPP FILTERMAX vacuum filtration system has a square format that uses 20 percent less storage space than similar volume circular brands. The vacuum system also offers the lowest protein binding membrane, so there is less likelihood of removing vital protein components from the media. FILTERMAX membrane (PES) is hydrophilic with no need for external wetting agents or surfactants, resulting in low extractables. It offers better chemical resistance than cellulose acetate or nitrocellulose membranes. All TPP products are certified to be RNAse- and DNAse-free and non-pyrogenic.
