Allegra™ X-22 Series benchtop centrifuges are up to ten inches, or 25 cm, thinner than other comparable units. A line of 11 rotors and 18 adapters provides flexibility in a range of applications. The series offers three different ways to spin 1.5 ml and PCR tubes at high g-forces. At its highest capacity, it spins 4 × 250 ml bottles at up to 3,901 ×g. Refrigerated and non-refrigerated models are available. A proprietary brushless induction drive operates quietly and requires minimal maintenance. Ten different acceleration and deceleration profiles allow users to select the best run parameters for their application.
