BioDoc-It gel documentation system incorporates all the components required for image capture, preview, and save capabilities. A separate computer is not required. Images are acquired with a monochrome CCD camera. Live preview of images is provided on a 6.4 LCD screen. Save only needed images on CompactFlash memory card in tif or jpg formats. Touch pad buttons control image saturation warnings and integration times. The unit features a UV blocking gel viewer, overhead white light and a sliding tray for easy access to the interchangeable emission filter. When the wide-access door is opened, the safety switch shuts the UV off. New "three-door" BioDoc-It systems feature side doors positioned on two sides of the darkroom for cutting gels without opening the front door.
