Grape (Vitis vinifera) Array-Ready Oligo Set contains 14,562 70 mer probes representing grape gene transcripts, and is a tool for microarray analysis of grape gene expression. Each probe is melting-temperature normalized and includes a 5' amino linker to facilitate substrate attachment. Probe design for the grape set is based on sequence information from The Institute of Genome Research (TIGR) Grape Gene Index (VvGI) release 3 (August 13, 2003). Complete annotation will be provided on the QIAGEN Oligo Microarray Database (OMAD). The grape oligo set is provided in 384-well plate format with 600 pmol of probe per well. A control plate with 24 controls in 16 replicates is also included. Sample sets, which contain 96 optimized 70 mers in 384-well plate format at 600 pmol, are also available.
