CellBIND™ culture surface (Corning Inc. Life Sciences) incorporates a patented technology that uses a microwave process for treating the cell culture surface. This process incorporates significantly more oxygen into the cell culture surface, rendering it more hydrophilic and increasing surface stability. Being non-biological, the surface requires no special handling or storage. Because the polymer is treated, rather than coated, the surface is consistent and stable. The CellBIND surface is currently available on Corning® 850 cm² and 1700 cm² roller bottles and 25 cm^{2 to 225 cm}2 flasks.
