Dialysis Plates For Studying Binding Properties

Harvard Apparatus 96-Well Equilibrium Dialysis Plates facilitate the direct assay of molecular interactions under normal physiological conditions. Studies have shown increased target identification when equilibrium dialysis is used prior to the spectroscopy. Each well in the plate consists of two chambers separated by a regenerated cellulose acetate membrane with a molecular weight cut off of either 5000 or 10,000 Daltons. Each chamber holds up to 250 μl of sample or buffer. During dialysis, the plate needs to be rotated through 360 degrees in a vertical position. Harvard Bioscience also supplies a 1 or 2 plate rotator with a clamp attachment for ease of use, or an eight plate heated rotator. The 96-Well Equilibrium DIALYZER was designed with SBS footprint and standard well-spacing to meet automation needs, and is intended for single-use.
