Stericap™ PLUS bottle-top filter unit is a vacuum-driven device that rapidly sterilizes up to 10 liters of tissue culture media, microbiological media, buffers, and other biological solutions. The unit features the new Millipore Express® PLUS 0.22 μm membrane, a low protein binding polyethersulfone (PES) membrane that provides rapid flow rates and high throughput. Proprietary hydrophilic surface ensures sterilizing-grade retention of bacteria and other potential contaminants. The Stericap PLUS can be placed on top of any vacuum-rated bottle or other container with an inner neck diameter from 20 to 67 mm. The device comes pre-sterilized and requires no setup or cleanup. A built-in air vent prevents air locking during filtration.
