Rapid immunodetection method for Western blotting, developed using the Millipore Corporation Immobilon™-P Transfer Membrane, eliminates the blocking step and minimizes the number and length of washes without compromising specificity or sensitivity. The membrane has a uniformly controlled pore structure with a high binding capacity for biomolecules. Open pore structure facilitates access to bound proteins and removes unbound probes from the background. Handling characteristics and staining capabilities are good, solvent resistance, and a high signal-to-noise ratio enhanced sensitivity. Rolls and cut sheets are available.
