Innova CO
2 incubators are offered with three oxygen control options. Oxygen concentrations from 0.1 - 19% can be sustained to mimic
in-vivo environmental conditions for applications ranging from stem cell research to oncology and
in-vitro fertilization (IVF). These options, combined with fanless convection, offer a contamination-free and robust environment for sensitive cells. For hypoxic studies such as aging, heart and respiratory failure and diabetes, as well as IVF work and anaerobic research, sustainable levels of 1 - 19% of O
2 can be maintained by using nitrogen to displace oxygen inside the chamber, without the need for an external gas pack. When extremely low levels of O
2 are needed, such as for minimizing stem cell differentiation, a 0.1 - 19% O2 option is offered. For versatility, an option for O
2 control in the range of 1-95% is available, which is ideal for working with Fibroblasts and in O
2 toxicity studies or blood-gas transfer protocols.
