SampleJet, from Bruker Biospin Corp., is a versatile robotics system that suits both high-throughput NMR and walk-up operations. Robotics are used to rapidly transfer NMR sample tubes arranged in 96 sample format racks into the NMR spectrometer. The SampleJet complements the company's full range of NMR sample handling systems, including tube-based and flow-injection automation. The SampleJet offers capacity for up to 480 sample tubes which arranged in 5 separate 96 sample format racks. This provides compatibility with automated sample preparation and allows handling of commonly used 5 mm and 1 mm sample tubes. For individual sample analysis, the unit accepts single tube samples via a separate carousel that can hold up to 47 tubes.
