Endologix Inc., which develops treatments for aortic disorders, said on Thursday that former CoreValve CEO and President Dan Lemaitre will join its board.
Lemaitre's addition, effective Friday, gives the company four independent directors and three non-independent directors.
Privately held CoreValve, which makes artificial valves for hearts, was acquired by medical device company Medtronic in April.
Endologix shares fell 7 cents to close at $4.38 on Thursday.
