West Virginia University is shopping for two deans.
Search committees have been formed for the College of Arts and Sciences, which is replacing Mary Ellen Mazey. She left to become provost of Auburn University.
Interim Provost Jane Martin says WVU also needs to replace Steve Sears, who left the College of Business and Economics over the summer.
Sears was a key player in a 2007 master's degree scandal involving Gov. Joe Manchin's daughter, Mylan Inc. executive Heather Bresch. Sears left for Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
Former WVU President Mike Garrison also resigned over the scandal.
Martin says both committees will meet before December break and hope to complete work in time for the new deans to begin July 1.
